About the Framework
The FfIT assessment is rooted in two disciplines: marketing and entrepreneurship. Each of the four creator domains maps onto a 2×2 matrix defined by two continuums.
Experience ↔ Knowledge
How you make decisions. Experience leans on intuition; knowledge leans on facts and definitive results.
Creativity ↔ Practicality
How you communicate and influence. Creativity finds new ways; practicality focuses on getting things done.
Product
A tangible offering that can be touched and interacted with. The key challenge is differentiation.
Service
An intangible offering that cannot be produced ahead of time. It depends on the consumer's perception of the interaction.
Data
Information as offering. The provider must understand what insights the buyer seeks to derive.
Ideas
Unique to the individual, but transferable. When harnessed, they can develop something ground-breaking.
